Mascot Scavenger Hunt

This youth group scavenger hunt is much like those shows you see on T.V. where a mascot appears or is found in weird places around the world.  The youth group will make their own mascot out of paper and pens (or more stuff if you want to get really creative) and then they will take their mascot around town and take pictures with it.  The pictures are at certain places, with certain people, or around certain objects.  Each picture is given a certain amount of points.  The most point wins.

We called our mascot Vincent and had them use cell phones.

Here is our list that you can use for ideas or just copy and make it your own!

Just an add-on to this that we did. We included a bonus section on the sheet worth 10 points. The volunteers took off once everyone was dismissed and went to a restaurant. The kids could text us YES or NO questions to find out where we were. They got 10 points if they found us and took a picture with us and their mascot.

Make sure it is not too far away!
