I have had some successes and many disappointments...although they have not discouraged me. Now that summer is here, I have started a "Youth Nite" on wednesday's following 6pm mass. I have set up for games and other activities, music and refreshments for two weeks and no kids have attended. I did have several adult helpers that showed up and that was surprising and great! Now, I just need the kids. My youth group has not been very large in numbers. I did take 7 youth to the NCYC in Kansas City, and 7 to the West Plains, MO Diocese Youth Conference. That was exciting and so enlightening to spend time with the kids. I want to have more good times with them right here at home, but can't get them in. I need help.
